What does it mean to be a qualified custodian?

A qualified custodian is a type of institution that is approved by regulators to hold assets on behalf of clients.  For example, a bank is a qualified custodian.  Paxos is also a qualified custodian, which means that we have an extremely high level of government oversight. You can be confident that your assets are safe with Paxos.
